What is the Association Montessori Internationale?

The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) was established in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori herself to maintain and protect the integrity of her educational philosophy.

AMI is the oldest recognized authority on Montessori education worldwide. Little Einstein's Montessori Preschool is so committed to preserving and nurturing the educational ideas envisioned by Dr. Maria Montessori that each classroom is staffed with a lead teacher that is AMI-trained. Furthermore, the Owner and Director of Little Einstein's is AMI certified. Staff members have been recruited from various parts of the United States so that we can ensure this. In addition, local staff members have been sponsored to attend various international training centers so that we can ensure the highest standard possible in Montessori education.
